On the 9th February 2019, Christians from across London attended the New Testament Church of God (NTCG) Rehoboth’s first Christian Singles Seminar. I designed a bespoke programme that examined the theology of relationships and encouraged Christian single people to explore issues around Christian dating and self-reflection.
The aim of the seminar was to inspire and help single Christian adults cultivate mindsets, skills and biblical wisdom to experience positive relationships.
The event was sponsored by the NTCG Rehoboth Men’s Ministry and hosted by Craig Morgan. David King the coordinator for the NTCG Singles Adult Ministry (SAM), provided information and teachings about SAM and supported attendees to pray boldly for a life partner.
Sophie a participant said: “I am so pleased that I made the effort to attend what proved to be an insightful and thought-provoking event”.
Lee a participant said: “I got a lot of information that I found really useful, I hope the church will hold more sessions for single people”.
Elaine a participant said: “the seminar was very interactive, the topics discussed made me think about myself and how I need to work on my own characteristics to develop positive relationships”.
After the activities, participants were treated to a Caribbean finger buffet while networking with each other. The food was provided by Linstead’s Caribbean Foodz.
